I joined the Bazzani Building Company in March and consider it an honor to work with Guy, Peter and the entire team in sustainable business development.

We’ve just received news we’re all thrilled to share with our clients, colleagues and friends. Bazzani Building Company has been honored as “Best for the World” for using business as a force for good.

The “Best for the World” list by B Corp sets the gold standard for high impact companies. As an honoree, Bazzani Building Company, is recognized as earning a B Impact Score in the top 10%! Bazzani is proud and elated to be named among these high-impact Best for the World honorees.

Last year, Bazzani Building Company applied to become certified as a B Corp through the non-profit B Lab. To become certified, a company needs to voluntarily meet standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency -- certification recognizes a company for its positive social and environmental impact. Bazzani was confident we’d score fairly well but when we received the results, we came out on top!

Bazzani joins 350 companies in 29 different countries, all using business as a force for good in our world – for the environment, for the community and for the people. From construction to financial services, retail to restaurant, healthcare to hospitality, these B Corp businesses offer a positive vision of a better way to do business.

Measuring our company’s impact in the areas of governance, workers, community and the environment, Bazzani Building Company’s overall B Impact Assessment (BIA) score totaled 147. To put this into perspective, the median score for businesses of our size (a micro-enterprise) is approximately 95. Read Bazzani’s complete B Impact Report at
